I started working in black and white when the situation in the Middle East went out of control and so many innocent lives were taken. It was my response as a French Lebanese artist. I litteraly lost my colours. Painting in black and white was the reflexion of the loss of life. Destruction is shown in the tryptic “From broken lines to traces of chaos” and in “Middle East” by the use of incisions with the palette knife.
